Our mission is to glorify God and make disciples. Here are just a few of our outreach ministries in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Apostolic Food Pantry
The Apostolic Food Pantry was opened in May of 2006. That month, we served six households. On average, the food pantry blesses over 200 Knox County families with groceries each month. The food pantry is open to the community on the first Thursday of each month from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Please contact us at (740) 393-1676 for special holiday hours.
GriefShare
If you have experienced a loss, this can be a very confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you have never had to face before.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who know what you are going through and want to encourage you, help you face those challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. We meet once a month on Sunday at 10 am.
Global Missions
The Missions Department promotes the support of foreign and home missions through finances and prayer. We also help to facilitate communication between missionaries and the congregation. As a church, we support over 40 Foreign Missionaries and their families.
